"Entertainer of the Year 2010" Platz 2 Twilight-Saga

Ah, the ultimate love triangle between vampire, werewolf and human! "The Twilight Saga" cast flies in at No. 2 on "Extra's" Entertainer of the Year list.

Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novels -- about a girl named Bella Swan who falls in love with vampire Edward Cullen, while also forging a close friendship with werewolf Jacob Black -- made the tween set (and their mothers) swoon, launching a literary phenomenon in 2005 on a par with "Harry Potter."

And then came the films. When the first "Twilight" movie was released in 2008, young stars Kristen Stewart ("Bella") and Robert Pattinson ("Edward") were catapulted into teen idol-dom, with hunky Taylor Lautner ("Jacob") following their path in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" in 2009.

This past summer, the third film, "Eclipse," opened to huge numbers, grossing over $300 million domestically. The highly anticipated fourth book, "Breaking Dawn," will now be made into two movies, to be released in 2011 and 2012.

Kristen auf der Dezemberausgabe von Elle Girl Japan

Artikel "Starpulse"

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart was propelled to super stardom the minute she signed up for the immensely popular film series "Twilight." Plus, her relationship with vampire co-star Robert Pattinson keeps her on the cover of tabloid magazines and at the front and center of online blogs. But did you know the actress acutally had a respectable career before that?

In 2002 Kristen starred opposite Jodie Foster in "Panic Room." She played a teenage girl who was imprisoned with her mother in the panic room of their own house. She also appeared in "The Safety Of Objects," in which she played a tomboy with a troubled mother.

She then starred in "Cold Creek Manor," "Catch That Kid" and "Undertow" before landing a role in the critically acclaimed 2004 film "Speak." Thirteen-year-old Stewart was praised for playing a high school freshman who stopped talking after being raped.

Following films included "Zathura," "Fierce People" and "The Messengers." She also appeared opposite Meg Ryan in "In The Land Of Women" and Emile Hirsh in "Into the Wild."

Kristen probably never expected she would become a household name when in November 2007 she was cast as Isabella "Bella" Swan in the film "Twilight." The movie is based on the best-selling vampire and werewolf series of the same name. The 2008 film made over $400 million worldwide. She has since reappeared in the follow-up "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" (which made over $700 million worldwide!) and will star in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which hits theaters this June.

When "Twilight" opened, Kristen immediately became tabloid and blogger fodder. It was her game changing moment. She could no longer walk around in obscurity and live like a regular person. Lovers and haters both praised and bashed the star for her acting, her love life, and anything else they could think about. Recently Kristen commented, "(I don't care if) people go onto the internet and say I'm ugly. (But) I hate it when they say I'm ungrateful, and I f---ing hate it when they say I don't give a shit, because nobody cares more than I do."

In addition to defending her drive and dedication, Kristen and her co-star/boyfriend Robert Pattinson have spent the last couple of years avoiding the paparazzi and trying to keep their private lives, well, private. It isn't easy. Their relationship was recently confirmed by a source on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," who spilled that the couple is "100 percent" dating.

Since "Twilight," Kristen has starred in "Adventureland," "Jumper" and "The Yellow Handkerchief." These films didn't get much buzz or impress at the box office. So will the "Twilight" series be the pinnacle of Kristen's career? It's too early to tell. She has several films in production, including "K-11," "On The Road," "Paani."In her new film "Welcome to the Riley's" she plays a teenage prostitute who helps a married couple break their cycle of grief. And, of course, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

Einfach unglaublich

Gut so !
Dennoch gibt es 4 Screencaps und ein GIF
