As this blog only started in October there were a number of stylish outfits that were unfortunately not featured, so I’ve decided to do something a little different for the final ‘Standout Style’ blog post this year. I have chosen to write about one of my favourite celebrity looks from early 2010, before the blog launched, as a celebration of all the fabulous outfits this year has seen.
I am a big fan of Kristen Stewart’s style and she is my best dressed celebrity for 2010. She has previously featured in this blog here wearing Valentino, and while I find it extremely difficult to pick a number one celebrity red carpet outfit of 2010, the dress pictured above is definitely one of my favourites.
Stewart stepped out in a gorgeous Versace number during her promotional tour for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last June. Appearing at the Hotel Regant in Berlin, Stewart wore a short, jersey, mini-dress from the Fall 2010 collection. This dress is fun and modern and provides the perfect look for the 20 year old actress.
The blue panels and zips give the dress a geometric feel and the body-con style shows off Stewart’s slim figure to the max.
She accessorized with a black leather bracelet and delicate necklace. Her black nail polish gave the outfit some vampish glam.
Her hair is backcombed at the roots and caught up in a ponytail, complimenting her natural look make up. She finished the outfit with a pair of open toe Camilla Skovgaard boots.
